Agronomy specialist Agrovista UK has announced changes in the senior management of the business.
James Robertson, the current managing director and executive chairman, is moving to the position of group chairman. He will take over a wider role within the business overseeing expansion plans and looking at opportunities within the industry and the wider business.
Finance director and company secretary Glenn Aungles has been appointed the new Managing Director. His appointment is effective from January 2013.
Mr Aungles joined Agrovista in 2010 as finance director following 10 years experience at board level, predominantly in venture capital backed businesses. He trained with KPMG, moving into industry in the mid 1990s and has extensive experience across several industry sectors.
Commenting on the appointment, Mr Robertson said: ?His experience in all aspects of business outside agriculture will be invaluable. Since joining our business over two years ago, he has very quickly grasped the key challenges that face our industry over the next few years.?
